Recent Faves Pt. 16

I love sharing these "Faves" posts with you all and I know you all always enjoy reading them! I feel like there is always more to share and more that I come across that I love, but I often forget about it when the time comes to creating these posts.....I should probably get better at saving links as I find them:) Despite that however, this might be one of my favorite "Faves" in awhile because there is so much goodness and excitement to share with you all! I think these posts give you not only a glimpse at what I have been loving lately, but also give you a glimpse at who I am as a person too:) Pull up a chair, cozy up in your reading corner, as always grab your favorite hot drink and get reading! 

  • Lauren of Passing Whimsies (what used to be the blog Someone Like You) has been one of my favorite bloggers from the moment I discovered her. We have a lot of things in common from thrifting our wardrobes, being cat moms, and being very introverted. I have always been inspired by her and her courage to move to NY and absolutely LOVE her recent post on her blog (which she picked back up after 2 years) where she shares a video about Living With Anxiety in New York. 
  • What would be my Recent Faves post without something from Rebecca of A Clothes Horse:) I absolutely LOVE this post she wrote about 8 Ways To Improve Your Style because she focuses so much on being inspired by other people, books and characters which speak so much to me as I believe clothes have their own language and the power to transform and transport us! 
  • I am such a HUGE fan of NBC's World Of Dance and while there have been so many amazing groups and routines so far I can't get over the beauty of this piece by Charity and Andres to the song "Say You Won't Let Go"...... so moving! 
  • So if you didn't know, I get really into TV shows! I get emotionally invested in characters lives, especially specific characters that I want together, so after waiting for over 4 years and 5 seasons the season 8 finale of Blue Bloods was THE BEST EVER because my two favorite characters FINALLY decided to be more than partners on the job!!! 
  • I loved what Keiko Lynn wrote about this dress and how sometimes we avoid wearing something because it seems to important, but in reality we should just wear the dress! 
  • New FAVORITE purchase is this adorable polka dot jumpsuit from Saving Paige! I can just see myself wearing this to teach in or grab brunch with a friend:) It's so classic and simple, but still quirky and different which I love! 
  • Recent FAVORITE read is the "If I Run" Series by Terri Blackstock! I got hooked on the thrilling story and wanting to know how it ends. 
  • Absolutely love everything that Maddy Corbin posts, from her fabulous style, creative photos, photo editing/filters and everything in between:) 
  • Where has The Other Sparrow been all my life?!?! I can't get over these gorgeous dresses....i'm seriously swooning!! This is what my dress dreams are made of! 
  • Last but least, have you seen the new PBS Little Women? I know there were a lot of mixed reviews from people that I know after they watched the first episode, but I also know a lot of people who ended up loving it after they finished all three episodes:) I personally LOVED it so much (I've already watched it 2 times and cried at the end which I never do). I think all of the characters were perfectly cast, and while it might not have followed the book perfectly, I think they did a great job of giving every March Sister their own story line and character development and beautifully told the story we love so much (with such honesty)...not to mention the ending was one of my favorite Little Women endings ever!

Wildflowers & Spring Dresses 
It's been awhile since I have done a new FAVORITES post and there are so many things to share with you all. I always love doing these because I love rounding up anything I have been loving recently in blogging, fashion, TV, movies, and whatever else peaks my interest to share with you all. This post could probably be much longer but I have condensed it down to my FAVES of the FAVORITES and I hope you find it interesting.   • This monochromatic look book by Keiko Lynn is to die for, I especially love this pink combo! 
  • Stephanie's post about sponsored content was so informative and I learned a lot about how bloggers receive and work with sponsored posts. 
  • Two songs I am LOVING right now: Shawn Mendez's "In My Blood" and Carrie Underwood's "Cry Pretty"
  • These heart sunglasses are all the rage this spring and I am so tempted to buy them in every color!
  • I always LOVE Rebecca's looks, but I especially love this Milkshake + Diner Look. 
  • I am on the book launch team for Girl Defined's newest book "Love Defined" and I am soooo excited about the book and the content! 
  • My best friend and I went to the movies last weekend to see "Midnight Sun" and it was sooo good! I had seen the trailer and knew just a little bit about the story, but I didn't expect to be crying by the end of it. 
  • These White bauble ball drop earrings have been my favorite spring jewelry piece so far. 
  • I am kind of obsessed with jumpsuits and this bright 60's inspired Jumpsuit from SHEIN is to die for (and I just ordered it). 
  • Krista of Covering the Bases shared an older post of hers on Insta. Stories about how to take better blog photos and I thought you all would find it helpful! 
  • Krista also introduced me to "ice rolling" and I bought this ice roller that I have been using daily! 
  • Lilly James is one of my favorite British Actresses and she is staring in a new British period drams called "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society" that looks sooooo good and has so many Downton Abbey characters like Matthew Goode, Jessica Brown Finley, and Penelope Wilton.
  • I have currently been reading the thrilling "If I Run" trilogy Seriesand just started the last book "If I live" which just came out in March.....I can't wait to see how it ends!

It's September and Fall is right around the corner! I am all about making pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, burning pumpkin candles, getting pumpkin spice latte's from Starbucks and searching for trees with orange leaves wherever I go....just waiting on that cool weather! Often time however, I just live my true vision of fall vicariously through others, so many of my most recent favorite posts are centered around all things fall. So go grab yourself your favorite fall drink and settle in for some fabulous style inspiration, glam, music, and other such favorites! 
  • I've always liked the idea of dressing a cute pair of sneakers up with a cute skirt, so Kathy's fun comfy look here is to die for! 
  • Rebecca's Ireland lifestyle is a dream, especially when she goes Apple Picking in the fall! 
  • New Darlings London trip is everything I dream of and more! I loved their posts on their London trip here & here and Christina's English style if stunning.
  • Noelle's picnic in Prospect Park has me feeling all the NY vibes and wishing I could have a picnic like this when I go!
  • If you need some MAJOR rose pink princess vibes, Girl Meets Glam dressed up style look is stunning in every shimmery/lacy since of the word:) 
  • Caleb and Kelsey's cover of My Heart Will Go On from the Titanic is beautiful! 
  • Hallmark Channel's tv show Chesapeake Shores is so good! It's the typical "somewhat predictable" story line with dramatic twists and fabulous characters! 
  • Vera Wang's new Embrace perfume collection is so dreamy and feminine and I am absolutely in love with their Rosebuds and Vanilla Scent! 
  • This is such a fun Back to School post from Daphnie, it has me wanting to do a scholarly inspired style post. 
  • I might have gone a bit overboard with my AUTUMN Pinterest board! 
  • Okay, so if you didn't know I love Shawn Mendez's and his CMA performance of There's Nothing Holding Me Back is fantastic! 
  • I might have teared up at Julia's post on on Girl Meets Glam with her 5 Favorite Spots For Fall Foliage because she made all my fall dreams come true and transported me into an Autumn wonderland! 
  • If you don't watch America's Got Talent and haven't heard of the Airforce Acapela group "In the Starewell" you desperately need to go watch all their performances now! Check them out here, here, here, and here!

Its been awhile since my last FAVORITES post so I thought it was high time I shared some of the links, posts, and products I have been loving recently!

  1. Krista recently wrote a post titled 10 Things To Do In Nantucket and now I want to VISIT sooooo bad! I seriously sent this post to my BFF right after I read it and said we are taking a trip to Nantucket VERY SOON:) 
  2. Speaking of Nantucket and traveling with friends, Carly wrote an amazing post on how she personally travels with friends and outlined a ton of really great tips that I want to keep in mind for the near future. 
  3. If you need a new FABULOUS Blog to follow you have to check out Girl Meets Glam! It's seriously my new favorite spot for inspiration and Julia's style is incredible and so classy. 
  4. Nicole created a post on the ultimate guide for selling clothes on Poshmark called 8 bank-making tips for poshmark and it was so insightful! I am definitely keeping it on file if I ever decide to take the plunge. 
  5. Have you seen the new TV Show called World Of Dance? I don't actually watch it real time every week but I have caught a few of the clips and OH MY GOSH the Mihacevich sisters are some of the most incredible dancers I have seen! Their qualifying dance to Warrior by Demi Lovato was INCREDIBLE and I seriously teared up at the power of their Choreography! 
  6. One of my favorite Instagrammers/Blogger Noelle of Noelle's Favorite Things recently paired up with Lucie Fink of Refinery 29 for a fun video about her day to day life and what it means to be a fashion blogger. Subtract the making a lot of money part (for now) and her life as a fashion blogger is pretty accurate to mine....just add in the fact that I am a college student too:) 
  7. Ever wondered how to photograph sparklers? Krista covers everything you need to know for photographing sparklers, breaking down all of the camera settings, lighting, etc. in order to capture the perfect sparkler picture. 
  8. This mask is MAGIC! I have started using the Mario Badescu Whitening Mask once or twice a week and my skin has never looked better:)
  9. I found the most PERFECT pair of strappy nude block heels at Target and they are incredible!
  10. KJP's new summer collection has all of my preppy Nantucket dreams coming true!

  • Cathy recently went to Charleston (because of that I totally want to go now) and I love this flared jean look she wore.

  • As someone who might do things to often based off of their photographable qualities, I LOVED what Chrisy shared about her mindset when traveling and doing your own thing. 
  • Pretty excited to learn that Soafy finally started a blog!!!

  • Jenny's latest youtube video on 5 Ways to Style Bangs is seriously the GREATEST thing ever for all of you "Fringe" babes like me :)
  • Um....so can all agree with how FABULOUS Sarah KJP & her husband's office is! 
  • Ruffles + Anchor Print + Flowers + The Eiffel tower = perfection in this post by Daphnie
  • If you know me and my love for MUSTARD than its no surprise that Jenny's post on all things mustard had me completely gushing! 
  • Laura sure knows how to rock "Cat" accessories and this cat collar dress is just one of my favorite things she wears! 
  • Every time I hear Celine Dion's version of "How Does a Moment Last Forever" in Beauty and The Beast I get chills......so MAGICAL!

There have been sooooooo many great things to love lately be it new YouTube Channels, favorite videos, gush worthy prints, fabulous posts, stunning photography, and all in all, sheer talent and creativity from so many lovely people that I have the pleasure and opportunity to follow! So here's to Part 10 of my recent faves....pull up a chair, grab a blanket and get ready to fall in love with everything I have been going HEART EYES over:
  • Olivia's post on Ethical fashion & Consumerism is so ratable for me as someone who loves clothes, loves to shop, and kind of promotes fashion, but with that, it is important to develop a healthier attitude towards buying clothes and learning about fashion production. 
  • Also....if you didn't Know that Olivia has a YouTube Channel you should go check her out RIGHT NOW because I love all of her videos and her British accent is so pretty:) However, I am so loving her recent room tour video because it reminds me of my own small room!
  • Okay, so yes, the golden hour lighting of Rebecca's post is amazing, but to be perfectly honest I am all about her croissant purse......because lets be real, what gets better than a super buttery and fattening baked good that you can put more butter on (am I right....hence the picture for this post)! 
  • This post by Olivia on the Fear Of Missing Out is GREAT! I feel like it is hard for me to disconnect sometimes because I do think "What if I MISS something"!!!
  • Noelle's Galentines Day post is literally #FRIENDGOALS and the whole fact that she recently visited Europe and England make me want to hop on a plane right now....
  • I always tell myself that I need a cat print dress and I think I have found the perfect one at MODCLOTH! 
  • These night time photos of Klara over on A Robot Heart and the coolest thing ever! Also....after admiring everything about this post I totally want this yellow dress now:)
  • I might have had a small childhood dream of being a mermaid (actually that might still be true) and I also have a crazy over the top love of cats, so when I found this Mer-Cat shirt which basically combines both of these slight obsessions into one perfect blouse I kind of FREAKED OUT!! 
  • This Lemon Cupcake Stop Motion, created by the uberly talented Kenna and Lulu is the greatest and most cheery thing EVER! 
  • You might have seen the book Capture Your Style on my Instagram, but it is one of my new favorites for Instagram Inspiration and curation.....plus, Modcloth has it on sale for $8 right now so you should grab a copy:)
  • If I had $100 to spend on shoes these unique and oh so popular loafer flats from Madewell would be the first thing I would buy! Sadly, they are so popular that they are sold out at most places.....

Recent Faves pt. 8 // Christmas Edition

Can you believe it is only seven more days till Christmas (counting today)!!! Each year this season seems to fly by despite my attempts to savor it as slowly as possible. However, I still have a number of things to do before Christmas and plans to get me even more into the Christmas spirit than I already am:) Thankfully Texas has finally reached winter temperatures (even if they are freezing) which means bundling up in a coat and scarf whispers that Christmas is near and all that comes with it. Today I thought I would share all of my recent FAVES in their wintery and Christmasy glory so grab a cup of hot cocoa and a Christmas cookie and ENJOY!!
  • Sarah KJP's Wedding Day seriously has me loving the small gathering in a christmas tree farm!
  • I think we can all agree that Gingham as a coat in the winter is the BEST thing since cookie dough filled cupcakes! 
  • This Post reaffirms the fact that I want to move to the New England Area! 
  • This Winter Poncho from Hello Modesty is so perfect for the Christmas season and looks sooooo cozy! 
  • Emileigh has some serious knitting talent and her latest sweater is perfection!
  • NEW blogger love goes to Belle of The Ball 45 because I can't get enough of her classic preppy style:)
  • Daphnie's perfect wrapping post, plus Stop Motion video is fabulous for Christmas!

  • I have always been one to love other people's homes and apartments...falling in love with the simple details and how they so perfectly describe the person who lives there, so of course I am in love with Daphne's Apartment in Paris France (who wouldn't be)! 
  • Loving Klara's denim jumper dress, milkmaid braids, and bangs in her recent post over on A Robot Heart!
  • I have always been a fan of simple and classic jersey dresses and This striped dress from eShakti is so perfect! 
  • Now I know it's possible to pull of white converse + frayed jeans + a classic neck scarf because Daphne is rocking it in her Recent Post!
  • FOREVER the BIGGEST fan of any "Introvert" products and this "Currently Introverting" Shirt is the GREATEST! 
  • Okay...keeping on with the "Introverting" goodness is this article about 22 Shirts That Every Introvert Needs which totally made my day and had me laughing so hard because they are 100% accurate!

Here's to another installment of my "Recent Faves." There have definitely been some great posts by favorite bloggers lately, as well as lovely little tid bits here and there of accessories, songs, shows, clothes, and such that I have come across. I love compiling these posts because it give me the opportunity to share those things that I have been "freaking out" over lately and totally "falling in love" with. Hope you enjoy these lovelies below:

  • It doesn't get more autumnal than apple orchards, plaid, hunter boots, pumpkins, apple pie, and pure classic charm like in Sarah KJP's recent post HERE....can I just be transported into this post!
  • Yes...I just cut bangs...and no, I am not hating them, I still love them, but I can totally relate to This Card 100%!
  • Hannah Everly did it again with her FABULOUS fall skirt line, and knowing my over the top love for Mustard Yellow it is no surprise that this darling skirt is my favorite!
  • Anyone else have a "slight"obsession with the history and life of the royal family? For some reason I have always been intrigued by the royal family and watched a number of movies/series focusing on them, the queens, kings, etc. and thus, am soooooo EXCITED for The Crown which is coming to Netflix!
  • Katie Gabrielle has the most darling designs in her shop and I can't get over how cute this book lapel set is!
  • I'm all about those 70's vibes this fall and have fallen in LOVE with this dress from Modcloth's fall line!!!
  • Speaking of Modcloth.....I am over the moon with the news that Modcloth is coming to Austin! That's right....a real life, standing Modcloth:)
  • I don't know about you, but Bethel is one of my favorite worship groups and I can't get enough of their newest album and have it on repeat nearly every day! 
  • When fall hits, Rebecca of A Clothes Horse always seems to live in a magical Fall world in Ireland and this latest post from her is utter PERFECTION!
  • Gotta admit that I have always loved One Direction, so when I heard that Niall Horan (he was always my favorite...FYI) came out with his own single "This Town" it totally made my day!! 
  • Lastly, I want to go traipsing through these woods.....they are like a page straight out of a fairytale....Little Red Riding Hood to be exact:)

Shampoo: Hello Hydration

I don't know about you all, but I am one of those people who loves a good beauty product, especially when it comes to my hair. My hair is never the same, it is ever changing be it in length (I have cut it many times in my life) or in styles be it curled, straightened, natural, etc. Whatever the case, a good hair product can completely change how my hair acts and is managed when I style it. 

I recently joined Influenster and was super excited to get a VoxBox with two Herbal Essence hair products. I have always been a major fan of Herbal Essence as the smell of their products is so delectable, but also because they always delivered the outcome that is promised. It was fun to switch things up a bit in my hair product routine and try out the products that were sent to me. 

I have used the Hello Hydration before from Herbal Essence, and was so excited to see it in my box, as it is hands down one of my favorite Herbal Essence products I have ever tried. With the amount of curling and straightening that often happens to my hair, I find that at times it can become dry and need a re boost of moisture. This shampoo definitely re-hydrated my hair as well as made it smell delightfully tropical!

The second product, the Toussle Me Softly Let It Loose hairspray, was a new product that I wasn't familiar with. However, after trying it out I was highly impressed! While this product is recommended to be used on damp or dry hair to give it a beachy wave, I actually chose to replace my normal hairspray and instead used this after curling my hair. The results blew me away! Typically when I curl my hair I end up with tight curls that are frozen in place by my regular aerosol hairspray and don't give off a wavy relaxed curl until day #2 hair. However, since replacing my typical hairspray with the Toussle Me Softly I have found that after curling my hair and spraying it with this product, I can actually achieve relaxed natural looking curls on the first day......my life is forever changed (I might do a tutorial on this??)! Aside from it's fabulous ability to make my hair touchably soft while still holding a wavy curl, it also is smells fabulous all day long!

Picture by Me

Of course Donuts have to be the header picture for a FAVES post, because Donuts are definitely one of my weekend (really all time) faves. However, aside from donuts, I have come across a number of FABULOUS things, bloggers, posts, books, shows, fashion, etc. for this installment of my recent faves and I think you will like the content you find below. I have tried to start compiling my faves post in advance so that when I see something I LOVE I can quickly add it to the post, that way when I go to write a faves post I don't forget about all the great things I recently discovered. Hope you all enjoy this installment and let me know what some of your recent faves are (aside from Pumpkin Spice Latte's of course!!!!)

  • Recently discovered the blog Finding Femme and am totally obsessed with Liana's fabulous vintage style and her love for bikes paired with darling ensembles! I have always wanted a vintage style bike just for taking pictures, and her blog makes me want a bike even more!
  • Blogger LOVE: I just cant get over the perfection of this post on Wish Wish Wish, Totally want to steal Lauren's Bike in her Latest Post, Always love anything Rebecca puts out and her Fall Wardrobe is perfection, and I also recently discovered Poor Little it Girl and can't get enough of Cathy's FAB outfits (plus her post titles are lyrics to songs).
  • Definitely get a tad bit jealous any time I see Daphne's new posts on her blog! Especially this most recent one, because I think we would all agree that living in Paris France would be perfection! 
  • Is this Anne Of Green Gables Book Set not TO DIE FOR!!! I seriously want to add this set to my library (especially since I haven't read all of the books). Like seriously, these covers are so Anne APPROVED!
  • While we are on the topic of Anne of Green Gables, did you know that Netflix is coming out with an Anne of Green Gables TV adaption called ANNE! The show is set to premiere in 2017 so I am super curious to see if they do the story justice. 
  • Totally in LOVE with the song "Not Today" by Imagine Dragons from the movie Me Before You! I recently watched the movie again and the ending scene with that song totally got me......definitely on repeat lately and I try not to tear up thinking of the book and movie...
  • Have any of you seen the trailer for the new movie Hidden Figures coming out next year? To say I am super excited about it is a totally understatement! The movie focuses on the women behind NASA (called the "human computers"), specifically the women behind John Glenn's space flight (which I know a decent amount about because of "Astronaut Wives" and an old Time Magazine). I SOOOOOOO CANNOT WAIT for this movie! 
  • Kelly over at Studio DIY has done it again with her FABULOUS Colorful Fall Capsule Wardrobe! I don't think fall could get anymore colorful, or a capsule wardrobe be any more inspiring! I have never been one to like the idea of a capsule wardrobe because it seemed to "plain" for me, but now I am seriously reconsidering it......I basically want to steal Kelly's wardrobe:)
  • For all my seamstresses out there, can we just take a moment to appreciate this darling "No Regrets" seam ripper pin! I totally relate 100% with the message of this pin! 
  • Basically I would love to be Sarah KJP with her fabulously classy style, adorable dog, and exciting adventures with her husband Like HERE! But alas, I am not, so I am contented in reading her blog and swooning over her Instagram knowing that she is as close as I will get to Kate Middleton here in America, because lets face it, they could be sisters:)

  • Basically I just want everything at Chalk Full Of Love, but Sarah's fall collection has me swooning (insert excited and heart eye emoji's) and I want This, This, Definitely This, also This, and This! 
  • I think I really NEED This "Luke's" Dinner Pin for the premiere of the new Gilmore Girls season!
  • Alissa's most Recent POST on The Adored Life seriously gives me "life" and I agreed 100% with everything she said!! Her thoughts on all the bloggers going on vacation had me in stitches, because truly if you are a single blogger who's going to take your pictures if you don't have an "#instagramhusband"? And I am totally all for a Netflix party......whose with me?!?!
  • Still really wanting to order and read #GIRLBOSS because I have heard so many good things about it and it seems so inspiring for entrepreneurs (like myself) but #collegeproblems of being nearly broke (#waiting on my first paycheck...LOL) 
  • Kind of OBSESSED with This Bedding at Target, which is weird because this is technically not my style, but I think the leaf print and pink/coral trim is the cutest thing ever! Plus, one of the girls in my house has it in her room and I nearly died when I saw it in person (not really, but kind of)....:)
  • Am I the only one excited that fall is just around the corner and TOTALY OBSESSED with ALL THINGS PUMPKIN SPICE like this campfire Mug! and this travel mug?!?!?!?
  • Totally swooning over Nicole's newest post Pastel Princess because the colors are to die for (really everything she wears is #fab) and the story she tells is so comical! 
  • Just got to be honest for a moment, but the book Lovely Bones which was on my Fall Reading List was literally sooooooooooo GOOD (I really wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did or finish it this soon) and no joke I seriously started crying like 4+ times while reading it (I NEVER cry) because the story was heart wrenching and beautiful and just so touching and powerful!! I also watched the movie when I was done too, and while the book was definitely WAY better they did a good job with sticking to the story line (plus Soirse Ronan  played Susie and I love her as an actress). 
  • Really loving the Block Heel trend! It's so 1960's does modern day New York and these black ankle-strap heels are so chic (and I might need them for this fall/winter). 
  • While I am on a shoe kick, lets talk about how much I adore these lace up flats from Target.....now I just have to decide which color.....black or cognac?

Another months means another Faves post! Can you believe it is already August 4th? Ahhhhhhh.........I move back to school in 4 days.........that is just unreal (and to be honest I am trying not to think about it thought I desperately need to start packing which kind of ruins the whole "not thinking about it" part). Anyways, as I was contemplating and creating this faves post I realized that I need to start these posts WAY in advance of them even being published, because I always run across such great content that I want to include but then when I sit down to piece it all together I forget EVERYTHING (not fun)! However, I think the links, content, posts, and products for part three of my "faves" is pretty great:) Cozy up with something delicious and scrumptious to drink/eat and check out all of my recent faves below:

  1. I can't get over the latest post, Golden Days of Summer, on Classy Girls Wear Pears.......seriously, it doesn't get any better than dogs in purses, yellow sunflowers, and gingham prints! If you don't follow Sarah KJP on Instagram you TOTALLY should, right now, because her classic and southern charm is to die for. 
  2. I REALLY want the Oxblood 11 inch satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company. Maybe this will be my Birthday present to myself in November.....
  3. Shawn Mendes's new song "Show You" is my new favorite tune these days.
  4. I seriously can't get enough of the July "Kids Say" over on Jessica Robert's Blog....this had me chuckling so much:)
  5. GEEKING out for a minute because the FitzSimmon's Screen Test Video Audition was released to Agents of Shield fans at SDCC 2016........we all knew that FitzSimmons was the perfect duo/OTP/Ship/characters but now its even BETTER (because this was their first time acting together).
  6. I have really gotten into the whole ideas of STOP MOTION videos and this "How To Do Stop Motion" video I found on YouTube was super helpful. 
  7. Any Literary Web Series fans out there (aka....LBD & Emma Approved fans)?? Because a new Literary Web Series called "Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party" is coming August 22nd. 
  8. Guys.....Gilmore Girls Is Coming Back November 25th!!!!! Totally planning a binge watch weekend with my bestie and sister! Watch the trailer Here
  9. In light of Gilmore Girls coming back, I think I am in desperate NEED of this "Girls of Gilmore" shirt by Urban Tee Farm (what do you think?)
  10. One more geeky thing.....the new Sherlock Teaser Trailer came out and its INSANE!!!
  11. This Slogan Pin Set from Sam Moon and Cat Friyay Set from Francescas are to die for and I want them soooooo bad!!

Hello all of you lovely readers! I am back at it again with my recent faves, and let me just say that there has been a lot of FABULOUSNESS floating around the internet and blogsphere as of late. I really need to start keeling a list of everything that I come across so that I can be sure to include it in my "faves" posts (note to self). However, lets get started on the faves from the past couple of weeks: 

  1. I am completely IN LOVE with the "Introvert Girl Gang" shirt by Luella......I seriously NEED this shirt because it is spot on and fabulous :)
  2. Does anyone follow Lauren of Chic Ethique? If not you NEED to go follow here right now and check out her recent Stop Motion for her Summer Capsule Wardrobe because it is seriously the greatest thing I have ever seen (I really want to make a stop motion now).
  3. I am absolutely loving the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleansor! It makes my skin feel so clean, fresh and tingly.
  4. Nicole of Writes Like A Girl had the most fabulous "Palm Springs" inspired ensemble this past week and I couldn't get over the simple colors and 60's vibe. 
  5. I try to get a decent amount of reading done in the summer and typically choose "back in the day" books, so Karen Whitmeyer's Tailor Made Bride was a great read (and I will definitely be reading more of her books)
  6. If you have never heard of Anthem Lights (and love music and covers to songs + some great harmonies) you have to go CHECK THEM OUT because they are soooooooooooooo amazing. Their American Medley in honor of the 4th brought tears to my eyes and filled me with such American Pride!
  7. I think I need to go to Northern Ireland and visit this Library that Rebecca of A Clothes Horse took pictures at in her "bookishly" perfect dress!
  8. Since it is summer and I am working on sewing projects or taking time to relax (binge watch TV shows) I recently discovered Elementary, which is a modern take on Sherlock Holmes and stars Jonny Lee Miller (who also plays Mr. Knightly in the BBC Emma and Edmund Bertram in the 1999 Mansfield Part) and needless to say I am hooked! Our family has also been working through Criminal Minds and finally made it 4 episodes into the 3rd season. 
  9. If any of you know Sarah of Chalkfulloflove (and her fabulous hand lettering skills + adorable mugs), she recently came out with her own book called Hand Lettering 101 and I REALLY need to get it so I can practice my hand lettering. 
  10. One of my lovely friends (who is also a VERY talented writer) started a blog and her most recent post on Honesty (which I had the pleasure of doing photography for) is so incredible, convicting, and true in our culture today. Take a minute to check it out HERE

Well lovelies, that is it for my Recent Faves pt.2. Now I am off to go pack for our trip, which really means I will be trying on outfit combinations for an hour.......needless to say I am excited for the trip but have a bit of planning to do before I an ready to leave early Saturday morning. I will be Instagraming our trip here and there, but also keep an eye out for some fabulous post coming your way from the French Quarter and the beaches of Florida!

I thought I would take a quick post and share some of my recent Faves with you all which include blog posts, products, videos, and other random things so lets get started! 

  • I can't get over Jessica Robert's inspiring story and totally adorable family! Her most recent  Blog Post features the cutest pictures of her 5 adorable kids (plus a little girl on the way) and their fabulous "kids say".
  • The most recent post from Rebecca on her blog A Clothes Horse titled What To Pack For Ireland has me wanting to hop on a plane and travel to that beautiful country right now........Ireland is one of the places I want to travel to one day and her packing tips were so helpful:)
  • Charlotte's new dress on The Boyer Family Singer's Blog is absolutely to die for!!!
  • I found my new favorite luggage brand (though it's doubtful I will ever be able to afford it......a girl can dream right!) from Steam Line Luggage and this Pale Pink set has me dreaming.
  • Grace VanderWaal's original song audition on America's Got Talent is so inspiring and fantastic and basically brought me to tears!!
  • I am so in love with my new white Steve Madden Sandals from Marshall's! 
  • I just bought a DONUT float exactly like this one for $5 and can't wait to go to the pool! 
  • I have yet to see the new Love and Friendship movie (based off of Lady Susan) but it looks so hilarious and comical compared to Jane Austen's other works. 
  • If you want to watch a good football movie (our family loves sports movies) that will also make you cry (trust me), than you have to check out My All American which not only has a wonderful story line but is also set in the 1960's and Linda's Outfits were so great!
